Thanks to Kelly on Upstarts and Peter Cronin from Alaymont International for their tips and advice as I journey with Butterfly Barn. We spent the first day of summer chatting about how I can bring the book to the attention of more readers. As an author this was my first radio interview in Dublin. Kelly made me feel relaxed and Peter asked the hard questions.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable process and has given me some food for thought. Yes, I very much want to continue writing. I plan to launch the sequel to Butterfly Barn in November 2015.
Already Waterford City and County Arts office has pre-ordered 65 copies for visiting dignitaries, which is a great honor to me. However, the reality is that as a self-published author I do not have access to a marketing machine, therefore it is you the readers who are making it happen.
I am grateful to you all for spreading the word, telling your friends, taking photographs and posting reviews, so far I have received 24 so I’m a quarter of the way to be recognised on Amazon. Thanks so much. If you have time tune into the link below XX
